Title: District Manager
Reports To: General Sales Manager

Primary Objective
The District Manager contributes to the success of Ultimate Exposure by supervising and leading salon managers to ensure friendly, professional, efficient and courteous service is provided to customers in a clean, well-maintained salon environment.

Protects the assets of the Company.
The District Manager is responsible for setting an example by being a role model and leader for all salon employees; by helping salons achieve/increase salon sales goals, training, developing, communicating, and following through.
Acts and makes decisions in the best interest of the Company.
Ensures and implements all policies and procedures of Ultimate Exposure.
Promote, teach and follow-through on the 4 C's of Ultimate Exposure: cleanliness, customer service, communication, and consistency.
A workweek is a minimum of 5 days a week and 8 hours per day in one week. Required to work one Saturday a month. (Flexibility to increase these requirements during peak season-Approximately February 15 th -June 15 th, dates will be determined by General Sales Manager.
Required to fill or work any open shift in their district that cannot be filled by another employee or manager.
No vacation time may be taken during peak season.
Required to be on page: Required to cover all open shifts as needed.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Manage operations for district; provide leadership and direct supervision to managers; and motivate managers and employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
Ensure excellent customer service by providing information, resolving problems, and answering questions for managers, employees, and customers.
Visit each store and complete operations checklist once every two weeks and coach managers on growing the business, leading employees and serving customers.
Produces thorough and timely paperwork. Required to complete all monthly paperwork.
Ensure salon managers and employees adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Support managers to ensure schedules are covered and optimum service is provided.
Identify staffing needs; interview, promote and/or hire sales and assistant sales managers.
Schedule managers for company training and coach.
Ensures salons and helping salon managers achieve or exceed their D.O.C, GCM, L.P.P., Retention Goal, and First Time Customer Goals. Refer to monthly goal sheet for goal numbers.
Assist Salon Managers to analyze salon numbers- explain why numbers are high or low; what impacted the store numbers.
Ensuring timely opening and closing of salons.
Training and Development of employees to enhance sales skills and to grow with the company.
Required to work with all new hired employees within their first two scheduled shifts.
Communicate any information regarding product, policies, training, sales techniques, and company promotions to salon employees.
Coach and Counsel managers in feedback sessions, training and development, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, and disciplinary discussions.
Coaches and Counsels employees who are not meeting company standards and meeting company goals.
Partner with HR regarding discipline issues, performance issues, performance appraisals, promotions and demotions.
Following up on salon managers to ensure work is being completed.
Investigate all potential loss prevention issues, recommend and take appropriate action, as needed.
Assist Salon Managers in recruiting and hiring qualified employees, follow through on accountability of employees and their performance with the authority to terminate.
Conducts monthly managers meeting, communicates and follows through on information from the meetings.
Follows through on Image Guidelines with all employees.
Plan and implement strategies to meet and exceed all district goals.
Complete administrative duties regarding cancellation/transfer of Gold Club memberships.
Verify end of the month paperwork completed by store to include; Gold Club, activity cash reports, credit card log, etc.
Analyze profit and loss statements to ensure stores are managed within agreed upon budget.
Identify opportunities to develop processes and policies to improve salon operations and company.
Prepare, hire, staff and open all new stores in district.
Salon organization and cleanliness- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance off all salon equipment and the work environment.
Educational Requirements:
High School Degree or GED; college degree preferred
Minimum 2 years multi-unit experience in a retail/service/hospitality company
Retail Management Experience or Equivalent Experience
Excellent Communication, Organization, and Decision Making Skills
Excellent Customer Service Skills and Financial Management Skills
Detail Oriented, Goal Oriented, self-starter with strong operational skills
Computer Literate
Team Player
Able to anticipate problems and recommend solutions
Completes quality of work in an efficient manner and within reasonable timeframe
