Title:Assistant Sales Manager
Reports To: Sales Manager

Primary Objective
Assists the manager in the daily operations of a retail store. These operations can include customer service, sales, and inventory control. Consistently achieves individual sales goals and helps salon achieve goals. Implements and reviews store policies and procedures. Helps with the supervision of salon staff. The assistant sales manager contributes to the success of Ultimate Exposure by supporting the manager in supervising and coordinating the activities of salon employees to ensure friendly, professional, efficient and courteous service is provided to customers in a clean, well-maintained salon environment.
Job Requirements
High School Degree or GED
1 year Retail experience
Great Customer Service, communication, and organizational skills
Must be able to multitask
Computer Literate
Proven Sales Success
Must be 18 or older
Job Responsibilities:
Needs to achieve or exceed L.P.P goal and needs to help salon manager achieve or exceed GCM goal. (Refer to monthly goal sheet for goal numbers).
Learn to and participate in managing daily salon operation.
Ensure excellent customer service by providing information, resolving problems, and answering questions for employees and customers.
Complete opening and closing cash handling procedures, to include- creating and verifying pre-determined banks and depositing excess monies in safe at end of shift.
Maintain product presentation and housekeeping standards in all areas of the salon in accordance with company policies.
Learn to prepare work schedules within agreed upon payroll budgets.
Participate in interviews for salon employees by conducting initial screening.
Providing guidance and motivating employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
Assist in training of employees to enhance sales skills and to grow with the company.
Communicate any information regarding product, policies, training, sales techniques, and company promotions to salon employees.
Attends monthly managers meeting, communicates and follows through on information from the meetings. (Meetings are held at corporate office, the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30pm-8:30pm.)
Follows through on Image Guidelines with all employees.
Creates a teamwork environment.
Participates in offering ideas and suggestions to management.
Produces thorough and timely paperwork and reports.
Salon organization and cleanliness- Cleaning and maintaining all salon equipment and the work environment.
Ensuring timely opening and closing of the salon.
Required to be on page (secondary contact) and must respond to pages within 15 minutes.
Maintain the cleanliness of all filters
Check misters and aromatherapy in S-class and P90 everyday
Replace burnt-out bulbs
Weekly and monthly cleaning of the insta-bronze booth and the instabronze room
Responsible for setting an example by being a role model and leader for all salon employees.
Acts and makes decisions in the best interest of the Company.
Promote, teach, and follow-through on the 4 C's of Ultimate Exposure: cleanliness, customer service, communication, and consistency.
Ensures and implements all policies and procedures of Ultimate Exposure.
A workweek is a minimum of 40 hours in one week. Required to have open availability. (Flexibility to increase these requirements during peak season-Approximately February 15th-June 15th, dates will be determined by General Sales Manager
